AA-team roadside assistance through car and other companies offer you many benefits
Car companies find worry-free driving important to you. With preventive maintenance and repairs of the highest quality, they keep you on the road and can therefore offer you an affordable mobility guarantee. If you do have a breakdown, they are also there for you and if necessary, your car will be taken to your own car company.
Other companies that work with AA team - such as leasing companies, importers, gas stations, insurers or insurance brokers - offer an equivalent or combined roadside assistance card.

The NL-1 National roadside assistance card is a basic assistance provided by (car) companies that offer breakdown assistance during maintenance or budget service.
Within the Netherlands, also in your own place of residence, you can make use of roadside assistance three times a year. If your car cannot be repaired and the repair time is longer than 3 hours, it will be brought to your own garage, provided that it is no further than 25 km from the stranding location. If you are further from home, we offer the option of alternative transport to get home. The car will then be brought to your own garage within 5 working days.
NL-1 roadside assistance includes:
- Assistance in the event of a breakdown, but also in the event of a flat tire or empty battery
- Transport within 25 km. of the stranding location
How does this work? You have your car or other vehicle serviced by an AA-team affiliated car company and after preventive or regular maintenance in accordance with factory specifications, the roadside assistance card can be ordered.

The EU-4 roadside assistance card is the most chosen package by (car) companies and the most comparable to the insured form of a roadside assistance subscription. You do not have a personal contribution for breakdown assistance that the (car) company has included in its conditions.
EU-4 roadside assistance includes:
- Help in the event of a breakdown, but also in the event of a flat tire or empty battery
- Free transport within the Netherlands with a repair order or trade-in
- Transport within NL to get home or to your destination. (usual: 1 day replacement vehicle)
- Transport within the mentioned EU countries to get home or to your destination (usual: 4 working days replacement vehicle) roadside assistance abroad

Within the Netherlands, also in your own place of residence, you can make use of roadside assistance three times a year. If your car cannot be repaired, it will be taken to your own garage, provided that it is no further than 25 km from the stranding location. In the unlikely event that you are further away from home, on-site assistance is free, but you and your car will not be brought home free of charge, but to a local car company. Because of the regional character of the subscription, replacement transport is not included.

Roadside assistance abroad
AA-team offers roadside assistance in more than forty European countries. In addition, replacement vehicles are available in most European countries, with and without a towbar. Taking care of the repatriation (up to a distance of 1000 kilometers to the destination) takes 10 to 15 working days.
